The Owl Tribal Tattoo by Tsutyfoni-Chan The Owl Tribal Tattoo by Tsutyfoni-Chan
I started a series yesterday after deciding to desgin my own tattoo with an owl. This isn't the one I'll be using because I want it a little more epic than this and this particular pose won't look so good on my back... but it jumpstatred a series that had six pictures in it.... ready for an art EXPLOSION????

EDIT: The japanese symbol means owl, but in japanese, that symbol also means good luck!

I love this, if I ever get a tattoo this owl would probably be it, though without the Japanese symbol.

You're welcome! Why would you be scared of owls? They are so beautiful and they're really fascinating creatures! I love them too! :)

Well when I was a kid we used to have a greathorned owl who lived out back of my house. I thought he was pretty cool... till I watched him kill my cat. :giggle: Then when I was in middle school my class had a gust speaker from the Birds of Prey conservastion, and they used me as a mouse for a snowy owl and put it ontop of my head. THAT was a heavy bird. But it was so beautiful and had such silent wings, so instead of being afraid of them, i fell in love with them. :D

Goodness! How terrible! I saw a cat get hit by a car once and thought I'd never get over that! I can't imagine what your experience must have been like! But I suppose it's just animals. They do what comes natural to them. But I do admire them so much! I'd love to be that close to an owl! I'll bet it was quite breathtaking! :)

I like this one. (Have I said that enough times yet? :P) I love how you interpreted the feathers.

i like how the owl looks out at you- like trying to understand you. it's simple-looking, but not so simple looking.

i'm thinking you should be a tattoo-artist. these are amazing!
